Dear Parents/Carers
We have enjoyed a busy couple of weeks in school since my previous newsletter. As Headteacher, I have the privilege of experiencing first-hand the excellent learning that is going on in each classroom. The children have been working hard and they always impress me with their positive attitudes. We have two weeks until Easter with plenty to look forward to… including better weather (hopefully).
ATTENDANCE
Our whole school attendance is currently 96.62% which is slightly below our target of 97%. Please remember that I am unable to authorise holidays. Penalty notices are being issued for unauthorised absences which reach the local authority limit. Thank you for helping us to maintain high rates of attendance. Well done to Class 1 for winning the fortnightly attendance award.
