Dear Parents/Carers
We have reached the end of another busy and productive term at Appleton Wiske. The children have worked hard and can be proud of their achievements. I am always impressed with their positivity and enthusiasm for school life, and they have definitely earned a much-needed break. We are looking forward to our Easter Bake-off assembly this afternoon; I hope you can make it. There will be a bake sale afterwards so please bring some spare change.
As you know, I am leaving Appleton Wiske at the end of the school year. I will write more at a later date but I just wanted to say that I am very much looking forward to my final term with the children. They are an absolute joy to work with and I can’t wait to see them embrace lots of fun and exciting enrichment opportunities in the summer term, such as the May Fayre, Teddy Bears’ Picnic and Sports Day.
