Dear Parents/Carers
We have enjoyed a busy and productive couple of weeks in school since we returned from the half term break. The children are making excellent progress in the classroom and embracing a range of opportunities. I have the pleasure of working with and chatting to all the children across the school from Nursery to Year 6 every week, and it is a genuine privilege for me to see how well they are getting on with their individual learning journeys.
ATTENDANCE
Our whole school attendance is currently 96.61% which is below our target of 97%. Please remember that I am unable to authorise holidays. Penalty notices are being issued for unauthorised absences which reach the local authority limit. Thank you for helping us to maintain high rates of attendance. Well done to Class 2 for winning the fortnightly attendance award.
