Pre School

Appleton Wiske Pre-School is a well-established setting of over 30 years which provides a good all round education for 2, 3 and 4 year olds. 

We are OFSTED registered and follow the Early Years Foundation Stage guidelines.  The Pre-School is situated in Appleton Wiske Village Hall each morning between the hours of 8.30am -3.30pm – Monday-Thursday and 8.30am-3pm – Friday.

The room is brightly decorated and has a full range of toys and play equipment available to positively promote your child’s development in all areas.  We also have a fantastic outside area so that the children can enjoy free flow play.  At Appleton Wiske Preschool we aim to create a safe, caring and nurturing environment. All our children are encouraged and given the opportunity to reach their full potential while developing a growing sense of independence.  We help each child develop an understanding of responsibility and mutual respect so that they have a good start in life.
